Filter Recipe
Equipment: V60 dripper
Coffee: 20 grams
Water Temperature: 93°C ~50ppm
First Pour to 60g at 00:00
Second Pour to 170g at 00:30
Third Pour to 260g at 01:05
Fourth Pour: 320g at 1:35
Total Brew Time: Aim for 2:30 minutes.
Note: Expect slightly longer extraction times for washed coffees and shorter for natural coffees.
Espresso Recipe
For a traditional espresso recipe we recommend a 1:3 ratio around 30 seconds.
For a "turbo" style shot, aim around 1:4 in less than 20 seconds
For milk beverages we recommend tightening up the ratio closer to 1:2.5 ratio.
Resting Coffee
For filter and espresso we recommend about 2-3 weeks of resting, shorter for more processed-focus coffee and longer for traditionally processed coffee. We found that our coffee peaks around week 4-6.
Shipping Policy
We collect orders throughout the week and roast them on Sunday. Orders are shipped on Monday, with the following typical delivery schedule within the United States (please note that delivery times are not guaranteed):
- Los Angeles Area: Wednesday
- Seattle Area: Thursday
- Texas Area: Friday
- Chicago & New York Area: The following Monday
- Hawaii: Up to two weeks
Exchange Policy
Exchanges can only be made before the order is fulfilled. Once the order has been shipped, we cannot process any requests.
To request an exchange, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@hydrangea.coffee with your order details and the item you would like to exchange it for.
Return and Refund Policy
If you change your mind, we are happy to cancel or exchange your order before Saturday 6 PM PST.
In the case of any faulty, incorrect or missing items received, we will provide partially or fully refund depends on the circumstances. If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 21 days of your purchase to request a return or refund. We may require supporting evidences, such as photographs or a description of the fault or error, to carry out the process.
