Farm and Producer

Iridescence is part of Jamison Savage’s work with partner producers in Panama’s volcanic highlands. The program brings coffee from collaborating farms into Savage’s processing approach, with this Gesha selection listed at 1,800 meters.

Variety

Gesha, also spelled Geisha, is an Arabica variety with Ethiopian origins. It is valued for high cup-quality potential and floral aromatics, especially under suitable high-elevation growing conditions. Its expression also depends on cultivation, processing, and roasting.

Processing

Iridescence is a washed carbonic maceration preparation. Ripe cherries are placed in sealed tanks and exposed to carbon dioxide during controlled fermentation. The coffee then receives a washed finish before drying.
