Elida Estate

The Lamastus family has grown coffee at Elida Estate since 1918. Located in Alto Quiel, Boquete, the farm sits on the slopes of Volcán Barú, where coffee grows beneath shade trees alongside protected cloud forest. Volcanic soils, cool nights and frequent mountain mist allow the cherries to ripen slowly.

Gesha

Originally from Ethiopia, Gesha was introduced to Panama in the 1960s. The variety is valued for its quality potential at high elevations, where careful cultivation can bring out delicate floral aromas and fruit character.

Processing

This Torre lot was harvested on April 18 and finished drying on May 13. The cherries were dried whole in a dark room, away from direct sunlight. In the cup, the coffee offers notes of yellow nectarine, guava and orange blossom.
