Our final washed Geisha of the 2026 harvest was picked on April 22 from the celebrated sectors of Colibrí and Poró. Immediately after harvest, the coffee underwent a 45-hour fermentation before spending 10 days drying on raised beds under cool mountain conditions.

Because Colibrí and Poró have so often produced some of Finca Sophia's most exceptional coffees, expectations for this lot were high—and it did not disappoint. Consistently earning top scores across multiple cupping tables, it distinguished itself through its elegance, complexity, and remarkable balance. As the final washed lot of the season, it also became the last washed coffee to earn placement in the Grand Reserve Collection, providing a fitting conclusion to an extraordinary year of washed Geisha production.
